The equipment uses natural gas or fuel oil as a heat source. Flames are injected into the furnace body through multiple burners. Inside the furnace, the sand is fluidized and stirred under the action of a high-pressure fan, ensuring thorough contact with the flame. The organic resin coating on the surface of the used sand undergoes pyrolysis and combustion at high temperatures until it is completely burned off. The resulting ash and fine particles are extracted with the furnace gas and captured by the dust collection system before being discharged.
This calcination furnace is commonly used in foundry applications for the regeneration of the following types of used sand:
· Phenolic coated sand
· Cold box resin sand
· Alkaline phenolic resin sand
· Furan resin sand
· 3D printing sand
· Adjustable calcination temperature to accommodate different types of used sand.
· Equipped with high- and low-temperature alarm systems; automatically cuts off natural gas supply if the burner extinguishes.
· Optional feature for automatic flame size adjustment.
